Job Summary:

The Human Resources Representative ensures that employees in Wedgewood Pharmacy’s Phoenix location have the tools, information and support they need to excel in their roles and deliver the company’s goals. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, this position is primarily responsible for recruiting excellent talent and ensuring new hires are successfully on-boarded. The Human Resources Representative will also assist the HR Manager and the NJ-based Corporate HR Team with a variety of initiatives, including employee relations, leave management, benefits and payroll administration and compliance.

This position is Part Time working 20 hours/week. The schedule is flexible, however, candidates must be able to work Mondays.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with hiring managers to identify needs and develop recruiting strategies
  • Leverage a variety of tools to source, screen and engage high-quality candidates
  • Organize the interview process and ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
  • Partner with hiring managers and the broader HR team to develop and extend compelling job offers
  • Manage new hire onboarding and orientation, including running bi-weekly new hire orientations and coordinating a well-developed plan and smooth hand-off to the hiring manager
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the community to establish Wedgewood Pharmacy as an employer of choice
  • Maintain quality data in the HR Information System (HRIS) by entering new hires and processing terminations
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management

What you’ve done:

  • Demonstrated ability in learning new technology tools, including social media and applicant tracking systems
  • Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related fields preferred or combined relevant experience/education
  • Have minimum of 3 years previous work experience, with 1-2 years of recruiting experience
